Neville Tranter’s latest work for Stuffed Puppet Theatre (Netherlands). First performed in 1896, Alfred Jarry’s play “King Ubu” created a huge response as an absurdist comedy depicting instinct, violence, greed and abuse of power, challenging the bourgeois theater and society of the time. Neville plays this “King Ubu” all by himself. Enjoy the world of Neville Tranter, who seems to have foreseen the chaos of modern society.
