One day, Magosaburo, the puppeteer of Edo Ito Ayatsuri, feels pessimistic about the future on his way home from performing “Yaoya Oshichi” and tries to burn the puppet. Then, a young puppeteer from the Taiwan hand puppet theater appears, and in an attempt to cheer Magosaburo up, performs his specialty “Hewing the Mountain to Rescue Mother”. A unique collaboration work between Taiwan hand puppet theater and Edo string puppets.
