Every year about 1,700 performers of 300 groups get together in Iida to perform their own puppet shows. IIDA Puppet Festa has 3 types of entry – Type A, B and C.
3 types of entry
Type A is for professionals. For this type, performers or groups are expected to give their ambitious work and supposed to decide the price of the tickets on their own. Expenses required for the shows are supposed to be covered by performers or groups themselves. Ticket sales will be taken by performers or groups.
Type B is for professionals. For this type, the festival executive committee selects works among repertoires of the performers or groups. Expenses required for the shows are supposed to be covered by the festival executive committee.
Type C is for amateurs and professionals. Expenses required for the shows are supposed to be covered by performers or groups themselves.
